OnStage (onstage.club) is a public speaking practice tool for Toastmasters and speakers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using OnStage you agree to the practices described here.
When you sign up via Clerk, we receive your email address and a unique user ID. We do not store your password — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.
We record when you first log in to enforce the 14-day free trial. This timestamp is stored server-side and is the only usage record we keep.
All video recordings are processed and saved directly in your browser. They are never uploaded to our servers, never transmitted anywhere, and we never see them.
We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate page traffic. These tools may set cookies and collect anonymised IP and browser data per their own privacy policies.
Your Clerk user ID is used to check free trial status and grant or restrict access to the Stage.
Table topic questions are generated via OpenRouter. Your Clerk ID is not sent to OpenRouter — only the topic difficulty setting is.
Aggregated, anonymised analytics help us understand which features are used and where the experience can improve.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers required to operate OnStage:
Authentication and user management.
AI-generated table topic questions (no personal data is transmitted).
Hosting and serverless functions.
Anonymised usage analytics.
You can delete your account at any time via your Clerk profile. This removes your login timestamp from our records.
Analytics cookies can be blocked through your browser settings or a content-blocking extension without affecting core Stage functionality.
We implement industry-standard measures including HTTPS, environment-variable secret management, and Clerk's hardened auth infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.
OnStage is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will update the effective date below. Continued use of OnStage after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
